Immersion English Farm-Stay Course
Our English Course with Farm-Stay Programme provides students and families with a unique holiday experience. A full immersion course, living within an English family on their farm in Normandy, France, is an excellent way to improve language skills. Students and Groups receive private English lessons, take part in farm activities and receive full-board accommodation.
For families looking for something less-intensive than a full immersion course, we offer an less intensive Family Learning Experience. Details are below.

 Whether you're a beginner wishing to learn English, or a more experienced student seeking to improve your communication skills, our courses aim to build confidence in written and spoken English.
We are qualified teachers experienced in teaching English and offer multi-level learning from beginner to advanced level.
Our immersion courses offer a 'taste' of Britain and British culture. We are a bi-lingual family (English and French) but English is the language of our home.
You will be encouraged to speak English at every opportunity, to listen to UK radio and to watch British television. English lessons are provided twice daily and cover topics including conversational English, grammar and vocabulary development.
 Farm activities will vary depending on the season, but examples include: fruit picking, harvesting, jam making, feeding the farm animals, preparing firewood, gardening, making evening meals using our farm produce, etc.
We believe we offer a unique holiday experience. Our aim is to make learning English informative and fun!!

La Petite Ferme Language Holidays
We offer three types of Language Holiday: an Intensive Learning Programme for either single persons or groups (weekend or one-week options are available), and a less-intensive 'Family Learning Experience' programme for families who wish to combine English tuition with an actual holiday. Details are as follows:

Adult/Student Intensive Learning Programme (14 yrs +) - weekend or week option
This programme is suited to students requiring an Intensive Learning Programme. They will experience a 'taste' of British culture and cuisine alongside a range of structured activities and formal English lessons. The week long course includes excursions to Le Mont St Michel, Pontorson Market, St Malo and Fougères.
Includes:
Weekend Course - 15 hours of English lessons and activities.
Week Course - 35 hours of English lessons and activities.
Full-board accommodation with private bedroom and ensuite bathroom/shower room.
English Test to assess level. All study materials. Use of books, DVDs, etc.
Report at the end of your stay, with suggestions for future learning.
Cost per student is 250€ per weekend and 750€ for a week

Group Intensive Learning Programme (4-8 persons) - weekend or week option.
This programme is suited to students requiring an Intensive Learning Programme. The course combines group lessons with sporting activities and cultural activities. Group learning includes discussion and debate, role play and use of multi media resources , TV Internet etc. The week long course includes excursions to Le Mont St Michel, Pontorson Market, St Malo and Fougeres Castle.
Includes:
Weekend Course - 15 hours of English lessons and activities.
Week-long Course - 35 hours of English lessons and activities.
Full board accommodation in shared room (4 persons) and ensuite bathroom/shower room.
English Test to assess level. All study materials. Use of books, DVDs, etc.
Report at the end of your stay, with suggestions for future learning.
Excursions to Le Mont St Michel, Pontorson Market, St Malo and Fougeres Castle.

Family Learning Experience (2- 6 persons) - minimum 1 week
This programme is suited to families wishing to combine learning English with their holiday. You will have a practical English lesson each morning and take part in farm activities. You will then have the rest of the day to sight-see, returning later for an evening meal.
Includes:
25 hours of Group English lessons and organised farm activities per week.
Half board accommodation with private bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
Cost for 2 adults is 1000€ per week.
Each Person up to 14 yrs +250€ per week, over 14yrs +300€ per week.
Minimum 1 week stay.

La Petite Ferme Language Holidays

Our weekend option offers a short but intensive 'taste' of English culture and cuisine. You will be immersed in the English language and take part in structured activities along side structured English lessons. The week long course includes formal lessons, practical activities cultural visits and sports activities
2. Groups Programme: An Intensive Learning Programme for 4-8 persons combining group lessons with sporting activities and cultural visits. Group workshop including discussion and debate, role play and use of multi media resources.
3. Our less-intensive 'English Learning Experience' programme is available for families who wish to combine English tuition with an actual holiday.
