Dining at La Petite Ferme Farm B & B in Normandy

We are lucky to be able to source most of our own menu ingredients from our own 'Petite Ferme'. Since our relocation to Normandy, we have been busy restoring the original farm buildings and reintroducing livestock to our land, with the aim of providing high quality home produce for ourselves and our guests.

At present our farm comprises free-range chickens, Muscovy ducks, geese, sheep and pigs. One of the most eagerly-awaited events on the farm is the arrival of new offspring; some of our guests are fortunate enough to view our newborn chicks or lambs. The farm is a wonderful experience, particularly for children. All children are welcome to help feed the animals or to pet some of our new 'babies'.

We also grow our own vegetables alongside our wide selection of fruit trees. Pumpkins and courgettes are a farm speciality. In addition, the orchard produces a bounty of peaches, plums, apples and walnuts. The abundance of fresh produce enables us to provide a feast of flavours for our guests to savour.

B & B dining room

We offer evening meals especially tailored to our guests' individual requirements. These range from 'Early Bird Dining' from 6.30 pm, popular with young families, to 3 Course Dinners from 8.15 pm. We also offer a Candle Lit 4 Course Evening Meal with the option of champagne for that special occasion.

As all our meals are freshly prepared using our own produce and regional delicacies, 24 hours notice is required for all dinner reservations.

During the summer, dine in the rustic setting of our 14th Century Barn and taste our house specialities: spit roast pork and lamb. As the cooler months approach, we offer dinner in the farmhouse in our spacious dining room with original oak beams and wood burner.

Fact File

We aim to be as self-sufficient as possible. We raise our own animals for meat, as well as caring for our large vegetable patch & orchard. We believe that you can certainly 'Taste the Difference'.
